My best friend is trying to get smoking after 23 years of doing it. She has asked for my help. My knowledge is very limited because I have never smoked. All advice is very much appreciated.

My dad and sisters both used the Nicoderm patches and they did really well stopping smoking. They had all smoked for longer than 23 years.
